Dr. Monroe M. Ginsburg
Dr. Monroe M. Ginsburg is a 1981 graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, MO. He completed a two-year general dental practice residency at Womack Army Medical Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Dr. Ginsburg is a Diplomate of both the American Board in General Dentistry and Federal Service Board in General Dentistry. In addition, he holds mastership status in the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Ginsburg has practiced full time in the St. Louis and St. Charles metro areas since his U.S. Army Dental Corps retirement in 2003.
Dr. Ginsburg and his wife Cindy have two children, David and Emily. Dr. Ginsburg is very involved in community service. In addition, he enjoys kayaking, sailing, cycling, motorcycles, racquetball and genealogy.
Military Service
Dr. Ginsburg served as a comprehensive dental officer in numerous clinical and leadership positions in many areas around the world.
Dr. Ginsburg served as the comprehensive dentist for the 86th Combat Support Hospital at Ft. Campbell, KY. In addition, he has had extensive training in dental forensic identification and served as the team leader of the U.S. Army Forensic Identification Team at Ft. Campbell, KY. In addition, Dr. Ginsburg has served as a dental instructor for medics of the U.S. Army Rangers as well as U.S. Army Special Forces (Green Berets).
Dr. Ginsburg’s military deployments included Operation Urgent Fury in Grenada, West Indies in 1993 and Operation Desert Storm in Saudi Arabia in 1991.
Dr. Ginsburg retired in 2003 with the rank of Colonel with over 21 years of military service
