We will put forth every effort to make your visit comfortable and relaxed. We will take time to answer your questions and not make you feel rushed. During your first visit, one of our staff will take five X-rays of your teeth. The first set of X-rays is called bite wings. They allow us to see decay in between your teeth. The last X-ray is called a panorex which allows us to check for things like cysts, tumors and un-erupted wisdom teeth. You will also be given a thorough cleaning by one of our highly qualified dental hygienists. An oral cancer screening and comprehensive dental exam will also be done. Once a treatment plan is formed, a staff member will go over all of your concerns and questions in the treatment conference room.
Initial Visit
During your initial visit to our office, we will thoroughly examine your mouth, take necessary X-rays, examine for periodontal gum disease, and tell you our findings. If treatment is necessary, you will be informed of the options and an estimate will be given to you upon request. You and the doctor will together, select the treatment plan that best fits your dental needs and budget.
Insurance
Our office staff understands dental insurance, and we will assist you in getting the maximum benefits from your insurance plan. It is important that you realize, however, that your dental insurance is a contract between you, your employer and the insurance company. Our office files your insurance claim as a courtesy to you. You (not the insurance company) are responsible to us for the entire fee for services rendered for you. The portion of the payment for which you are responsible is expected at the time of service. Please note that any expected payments by insurance are estimates only. If actual payments are different from the estimate, you are responsible for the difference. Also note that not all dental services are a covered benefit in some insurance contracts. They vary from plan to plan. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. We also offer low or no interest third party financing.
Drs. Ginsburg and Khan feel we have one of the finest dental staffs in the country. You will feel confident in their skill and knowledge. All staff, including the doctors, take part in continuing education to keep our skills sharp. In addition, we are all CPR certified.
